LTD Auto Sales

Was pleasantly surprised by this car dealer just a stone's throw from our house. We'd gone to see another but they were out, so we walked a little further and found LTD Auto sales. Our 2007 Ford Fusion which we'd had for nearly 8 years has broken a crankshaft bearing and was going to cost more money than it was worth to fix it. So, when they asked me what we were looking for I said, 'something under $5000.' Unfazed they said they'd just got a Buick Lacrosse cxl that was $4995. It looked a nice car and we made a date to try it out. This had a 3.8 ltr motor and rated at 200hp whereas the other variant was 3.6 ltr at 260 hp. I was surprised that it had steel wheels but when I was a teenager alloy wheels were prone to cracking and deforming if driven onto a kerbstone. Also the tires looked new (Kumho - nice brand from Korea). These guys were very patient with us and we took it on quite a long test drive including a stretch of interstate highway. We've had it now for 3 weeks and, the day before yesterday, took it to Hollister and it could easily deal with the long steep highway hills which our 2.3 ltr Ford Fusion had to drop a gear to climb. We could even get $500 for our old car from them which was a nice surprise. They gave us info about a company that could program a remote 'key' to the car, and these cost $60 per each including tax. And they gave advice for good garages to service the car too. We're very happy with this car and we are recommending this dealer to our family and friends when they ask where we got it. It is certainly a nice looking car! 2026 July 16: I tried out the garage he recommended - D&R Automotive on E Atlantic Street - and they were able to fix the electrical issue I had and for less than I expected. It's not easy to find a good garage so I am grateful for this recommendation. And so close to our house too. Thanks.

This was by far the BEST car shopping experience we've ever had!! Bought a vehicle for our son & their prices were thousands lower than other lots!
