My experience with AutoMaxx on Gull Road started out great! They let me take my vehicle on an hour long test drive, everything was running well, but then the check engine light came on right as I was turning into the lot. The catalytic converter needed to be replaced. AutoMaxx offered to replace the converter at a highly reduced cost, but were only interested in making the repair if I was buying. I planned on having my own mechanic confirm the vehicle’s condition, which AutoMaxx was willing to do, but due to my schedule and the holidays, too much time passed and they ended up selling the vehicle to someone else. They did warn me about not being able to hold the vehicle long, but never had any follow up communication with me after it was sold. All they sent was a letter to my address stating they wouldn’t be able to accept my finacing, NOT that the vehicle had sold. I had to figure that out myself. Overall, my experience was good, the salesman weren’t pushy, and the vehicle I wanted was on the lower end of their inventory, which may explain the coincidence of the check engine code after only an hour drive. I wouldn’t consider buying a vehicle that’s under 10k from them. If you can afford more, AutoMaxx may be good for you.

Bought a truck from these guys a few years ago. Purchased the extended warranty thought they were gonna be good to me. Transmission went out within 5000 miles of me driving it and it sat because the warranty didn’t cover new parts only used. Didn’t realize all the quick fixes they put into this vehicle and I spent thousands getting it road worthy. The more I dig the worse it gets. Don’t trust these people with your money
