On my latest truck hunt I saw one here that I liked. In our communications leading up to a visit Larry was super friendly and candid. On the day I was able to get down there he even stayed late after closing to show me the truck after I got stuck in multiple prolonged traffic jams, and once I finally did he didn’t rush me through the test drive at all, and patiently answered all the questions I had before and after. He never asked me if I was trading in anything, if I was looking to finance, pushed me to run a credit application, etc. There was literally none of the usual probing and whatnot you get from 99% of dealers. In the ten days or so after I was there he sent a couple short “hey just checking in, let me know if you have any more questions” type texts, in a way where you could tell he really cared about following up but was also nowhere near overbearing. Solely due to my own inaction someone else ended up getting the truck, but I can’t say enough good things about my experience there. Over the past decade I’ve met probably almost 100 different dealers on all ends of the spectrum, and can honestly say that Larry is one of the rarest ones you will find, in all the most positive senses.

I recently bought a 2012 Nissan Titan Pro-4X King Cab 4wd from Larry at Platinum Auto. The truck was priced very well, cleaned inside and out, and Larry left me with about half a tank of gas. The truck is in exceptional condition, barely any rust or corrosion on it. Larry provided top of the line customer service and satisfaction! He was very polite, and wasn't pushy. I'm just over the halfway point of the warranty. Have had zero problems up to this point, and I don't expect to either. I highly recommed Platinum Auto if you are looking for a polite, and honest used car dealership!

My wife and I were in the market for a used Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD! There are quite a few out there for sale, many of which met our criteria and we would have been happy with purchasing. But...we also wanted to feel comfortable with the person or dealer from which we purchased the vehicle. This is where Platinum Auto and especially Larry stood out from the crowd. When we first visited, we loved the truck that was on the lot but still went away, uncertain if it was THE one. A few days later I called Larry and asked more questions to which he patiently and thoroughly answered. Still we waited. We drove the hour and a half to check it out again. We test drove it again. Again, Larry was patient, answered questions and was transparent in his answers. No hemming and hawing, just told us what he knew and if he didn't know, said he would find out...and he did. We left and then just showed up and asked to see the truck again. It was a rarity that it was still available, it is a great truck. This time, We made the deal! When we did we mentioned a feature that wasn't operating correctly. He promised it would be repaired when we returned to pick up the truck! When we came back, the item had been replaced, not just repaired and Larry again took time going through the vehicle with us. His follow up with us and availability when we asked questions weeks later is why we feel blessed to have found Platinum Auto. All this is to say, if your trust in the dealer is as important as your getting the right car, look at Platinum and experience a great overall car purchase!

In an industry full of people simply out to make a buck, it’s not easy to find honest, reliable and kind people - but that’s exactly what you get from Platinum Auto Sales. Larry and Missy are genuinely good people that care about their customers. I went to them to buy a car and they found exactly what I was looking for and walked me through every step with kindness and caring. They made every part of a daunting task as easy as they possibly could. And I walked away with a wonderful car and great people that I can rely on for service and recommendations. I recently visited the Boston area and had a very disappointing experience with Platinum Autos. We arrived at the lot to look for a vehicle for my brother and immediately noticed that something did not seem right. The vehicles on their lot appeared poorly maintained and seemed geared toward inexperienced buyers. During my visit, I noticed issues such as rough engine performance, warning lights on dashboards, and interiors that were dirty or worn. It gave the impression that the vehicles had not been properly inspected or reconditioned before being put up for sale quickly after they get them from auctions. When you’re purchasing a vehicle, you expect a certain level of reliability and professionalism, and unfortunately that was not the case here. Overall, the inventory felt unsatisfactory and did not inspire confidence as a buyer. I would strongly recommend avoiding purchases from Platinum Autos until they improve their vehicle inspection process and overall quality control to ensure customers are receiving vehicles that are safe, clean, and dependable. I also noticed that the dealership does not appear to be accredited with the Better Business Bureau, which raised additional concerns for me. Combined with my experience on the lot, it made me question some of the positive reviews (possible bots) I had seen online. For such a large investment, there were simply too many red flags. Update: Larry, I fully understand why the use generic name may be mistaken for another location, but I recall the dealership right outside the Target plaza that I frequent during my stay and even used Google Maps to confirm this was the correct location to avoid any mistakes. And I never claimed to have met you—I just walked onto the lot from the neighboring lot and then walked back to my vehicle. Tha you for responding.
