This experience at metairie motors was so wonderful, I really appreciate Sam and Edy they are the best , Sam was a great he gave me a pep talk because I was feeling anxious and scared I wouldn’t get approved but he did his best to help and Edy as well she was awesome she helped me get my car insurance and also loved that she spoke the same language as me (Spanish) overall this experience was a 100/10 thank you guys so much I will recommend my friends, family to come to Metairie motors

All in all I wouldnt recommend this place. I made an offer via email and was contacted via phone call to view the vehicle. When I got there the person showing the truck had no knowledge of anything to do with it without a carfax report and maintenance report in front of them. When I sat down with the person in charge of negotiations I was told the price was set at higher than I had offered which would have been an easier discussion over the phone since I drove an hour to view. I have it at 2 stars because they were respectful and the detailing was clean.

Got car on Feb 6th and it's now Feb 27th and have no car. Car insurance lapsed due to insurance company they recommended doesn't take Discover card. So had to set it up for money to be withdrawn from checking account. Car insurance lapsed Feb 26th at 1201am, the payment cleared Feb 27th at 750am. Got off work and home at 130am on the 27th car was repossessed between 2am and 730am when I went to take daughter to school. Was told it would cost 1795 to get car back. I managed to hustle up the money but when I went to get car back was told I had to pay $3295 to get car back. I did a deferred tax payment of $1500 and told them at signing money would hit account on Feb 26th, so he set payment date on Feb 27th. The return hadn't hit my account and after contacting bank they said it would hit my account on March 3rd. I told them I had the 1795 but couldn't pay the remaining 1500 until Tues due to bank. Was told I basically had 24hrs to get $3295 or no car. So basically lost $2.4k which was down payment n car note and no car even tho would have money n all I needed was 4 days. No deal. The girl Destinee who sold me the car was awesome but can't help but feel cheated by the whole process. I don't recommend buying from them no matter how bad you need a car. I'm right back where I started, no car and struggling to get to work and get my daughter to school I'm just now outta $2.4k.
