Lake Charles Toyota

Ok, right off the bat my experience was pleasant. Came all the way from NOLA and told the dealership that I wanted to get everything done before hand. and aside from my signature everything was ready when I arrived. Once we started on the paperwork it took us 15 minutes. The car was as described and the dealership never felt pushy. Our Salesman was a good salesman that never felt too pushy. (Uncommon and nice). I would even say he is a huge part of this sale going through. If you ever need a car at the Lake Charles Toyota dealership, ask for Cody Hardesty he will take care of you. and Our financing manager was superb as well, his name was Jeremy. This was an actual dynamic duo. They never tried to rush me in the inspection of the vehicle or anything close to that. I truly enjoyed my experience. P.S. The classics museum was a fun plus. Really enjoyed it.

These guys work fast and get GREAT pricing. Not only was I pre approved with my credit union and ready to buy, I gave them a shot at financing and they actually beat my credit unions rate. Aside from pricing, time is very important especially when going with a 10 month old. Wool and Jeremy had us in and out within a couple of hours. 10/10 experience and will definitely be purchasing with them for life!

Let me preface this review by saying that I have purchased more vehicles in the last 20 years than I can count. I have had mostly ok experiences, some terrible ones and a few good ones. My experience buying a brand new 2026 model vehicle with Lake Charles Toyota has been hands down the best buying experience I have ever had. I never once felt pushed, pressured, or that I was not worth anyone's time. Kelly in sales has been awesome and she definitely deserves a raise! She has gone above and beyond to accommodate my vehicle needs and facilitate a dealer-to-dealer trade to get the exact model vehicle I wanted. Daulton in Financing made the numbers work and has also gone above and beyond taking care of the customer to make the deal happen. I have not taken delivery of the vehicle yet, but the paperwork was done digitally so that's one less thing I have to worry about when picking up the vehicle. Time is money! I hope the service side of the house is as good as the sales side of the house because there are some big shoes to fill. This is my first new Toyota and if you are in the market for one, and have read this far, get down to Lake Charles Toyota and give them an opportunity to get you in the right vehicle.

I recently went to the Toyota service center for a diagnostic appointment and honestly had a very disappointing experience. Before I came in, I called and specifically asked if the diagnostic would be free for McNeese students and was told that it would be, but after everything was done I was charged the full price anyway. I wouldn’t have minded paying if I had been told upfront, but being told it was free and then getting charged felt misleading. I was also told it would take about an hour, so I planned my day around that and decided to wait. After about an hour and a half, I noticed people who came in around the same time as me, and even after me, were already leaving, so I went to check on my car and found out they hadn’t even started working on it yet. The total visit ended up taking over 3 hours and caused me to miss other appointments I had scheduled on my day off, basically wasting my whole day. I also brought the car in for a wind noise issue and explained that I had already tried using rubber adhesive to fix it myself, but the noise was there before I ever put the adhesive on. I even told them they could remove it during the diagnostic if they thought it was the problem. In the end, they told me the adhesive was causing the noise, which didn’t make sense because the issue existed before it was installed. I later removed it myself just to make sure, and the wind noise was still there. This was my first visit and I had heard a lot of good things, so I came in with high expectations, but between being charged for something I was told would be free, waiting over 3 hours, and leaving without the actual issue being diagnosed, the whole experience was a huge disappointment.
