Gabriel and team at this dealership helped me make an out of state purchase, and hooked me up with a transport! Pictures and video were sent upon request of the vehicle as well as video to help me make a purchase decision. There was excellent communication and a very fast approval process! Thank you all at Select Motors and Gabriel for getting things done! Glad you guys had the car I was looking for!

I bought a used Honda CR-V from Select Motors in Wichita and had a great experience. The car was very clean and well detailed for being 20 years old. The staff was polite, held the car for me as an out-of-state buyer, and the store was clean with a good selection. Paperwork was quick and hassle-free. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. Very happy with my purchase.

We found a truck online and wanted to check it out in person at Select Motors in Wichita. Taj and Zach were phenomenal in giving us information about it. They made the buying process so easy! The cars on their lot were purchased carefully and I was so surprised how clean and well kept these vehicles are! We bought the truck same day and we will be back to purchase other cars on their lot and I have already referred numerous friends and family to their lot! Thanks for a smooth and easy transaction!

I didn’t know exactly what to expect since I don’t live in the city, but once the vehicle arrived, I was genuinely impressed. It was incredibly clean, ran beautifully, and even had new tires. Everything under the hood looked mechanically solid, top-tier.. It ran beautifully, and even had new tires. Great job Gabriel.. I feel great about the vehicle I selected, it’s been a solid deal so far.

In October we purchased a larger vehicle from Select Motors in Wichita because we needed more space for family road trips. The staff were friendly and the buying process was quick. The vehicle had hail damage, which we were fine with, and the dealership did disclose the insurance total‑loss history on the CarFax. What they did not disclose was the far more important fact that Kansas would brand the vehicle as a salvage title. We believed we were buying a clean‑title vehicle, which technically was in Iowa, but the title was still in the previous owner’s name rather than transferred into the dealership’s name — something we didn’t discover until weeks later. At no point did the dealership disclose that Kansas would brand the vehicle as a salvage title, and we were not verbally notified or asked to sign any type of salvage disclosure form. Bottom line, we would not have purchased the vehicle had we known this. The day after our purchase, we began a road trip and didn’t even make it 50 miles before the vehicle started smoking profusely and coating the back window with oil due to the low-pressure zone on the back of SUVs. We pulled into the next town and had a mechanic quickly identify that the valve cover gasket was leaking oil onto the exhaust. He believed it wasn’t catastrophic at that moment and said we could continue cautiously while checking the oil. We made it about 150 miles to Ottawa, KS before realizing the leak was far worse than it appeared. We had to turn around and used fifteen quarts of oil just to make it home safely. The dealership did include a one‑month, 1,000‑mile warranty, so we brought the vehicle back for repairs. They attempted the repair with their partner auto shop (KansasLand), the first time I left the dealership, getting 5 miles away and it started to shudder. It was towed back to KansasLand, to discover it was still leaking oil and the leakage had damaged the ignition coils, plus the intake manifold seal was broken too, they said they would cover only a portion of the repairs, but the issue was never resolved. The vehicle continued leaking oil and became unsafe to drive. It ended up sitting in my driveway for about a month because I couldn’t operate it without risking engine damage from oil starvation. We also learned that this repair was tried in August, 2 months BEFORE we bought the vehicle. I eventually took the vehicle to a trusted independent shop. They found additional problems caused by the prolonged oil leakage, including disintegrated lower control arm bushings and a bloated serpentine belt that was falling apart. They also discovered that the valve cover gasket had still not been properly sealed. These repairs cost me several thousand dollars out of pocket. When we finally went to register the vehicle in Kansas, we were informed for the first time that it would be branded a salvage title due to the prior insurance total loss. As out‑of‑state buyers, we had no way of knowing that Kansas would brand a hail‑related insurance total loss as a salvage title. This was something only the dealership, as a licensed Kansas dealer, would reasonably be expected to understand and disclose. I’m extremely disappointed to have encountered these issues, both mechanical and legal, and I am currently in the process of contacting the District Attorney’s Consumer Protection Division regarding what appears to be title jumping and the sale of a vehicle that would be salvage‑branded at full clean‑title price.
