Apparently there is a miss-communication between Hertz and PriceLine. I was unaware they had limited milage. 450 itinerary miles and 35cents a mile after that. Not good when your headed 486 miles one way. Cancelled that reservation.
DO NOT rent from here. This place is a total scam. They will not go over the car with you when you turn it in and then charge you a cleaning fee for a regular vacuuming. They have terrible customer service as well and were offensive by just implying that I am the reason they were getting over on me. Something is off just don't rent from them. I removed everything from the vehicle like any other place and they said that eventhough they didn't find trash it was soooo dirty and somehow found a stain in the vehicle. I asked what color the stain is (since all the interior is black) and they said it wasn't a color it was a small round hard spot. They didn't say it smelled which I would think it would of smelled if it was soooo filfthy. If you work for your money consider a different rental place. These people can't be trusted. This was a first and last for me and my family. If you're in Topeka go to Avis or Enterprise. There is a reason this Hertz ALWAYS has cars available. I had to go in to the office to get a receipt because they don't even send you one. They don't walk the vehicle with you before or after or send receipts and are just a full blown scam. The only reason we rented from them was because the same van I rented from somewhere else was recalled and they canceled the reservation. Somehow Hertz is still renting the recalled van to customers. No, they did not take pictures of vehicle that was sooo dirty and needed "excessive cleaning" according to their lie. Not to mention that I turned the vehicle in 6 hours early so had someone walked the vehicle with me and it was soooo dirty I could of taken care of it myself.
When things go well I guess they are ok. If there is a issue: user be ware. Had a rental thru a satellite office. After sever months I still have charges that are un-resolved with out communication from Eagle to help me out. During a refund/correction of a erroneous $600 charge more corrections were made to my charge card with out my consent. Now I am left with out help from Eagle regarding this charge
