Central auto worked with me to put me my car when my old car was dying, and my credit history is really messed up

My car died, so I needed a new one quick like. Got a nice car, no hassles. So far, so good. Update 5/2026 The car was rebuilt salvage and I wasn't informed. So many problems with the 2013 escape. The car hardly started and I put so much money in it. Once I took it to a body shop to get under it, I was shown how poorly it was rebuilt. Wires missing, parts not registered to the mother board. It was too much to even think of fixing. I needed a car so bad I didn't take to a mechanic. Never again.

Terrible experience. If I could put zero I would. They aren’t welcoming. You walk in you just smell cigarettes and see people at their desk smoking. No greet when you walk in. Or even semi interested in a sale. What happened to decent sales people Car had 2 bald front tires and an oil leak. But hey new oil change and 9 k asking price & if you don’t have a job a year then you can’t test drive a car. Mind you no asked or needs financial assistance from them. They assume form of payment very weird. I guess cash sales aren’t regular to them. 😵‍💫 Good luck guys Be weary of the establishment. Save yourself.

Tried to get me for 500.00$ when they already knew the car was in an accident, the mechanic whom they claim is a great mechanic literally said that he couldn't believe they would put a car that was in an accident on the lot for purchase. Also claimed that work had been done on the vehicle but it had absolutely no work done to it before it started making a weird noise. Told me that in order to get my vehicle I had to pay 500.00$ or release the vehicle back to them. Also did not tell me that it cost close to 700.00$ for a diagnosis test as well as the mechanic whom wanted to add his 2 cents in said " why would you bring it to us for a diagnosis test and not let us work on it?" They said the repairs for the vehicle was 1,037.00$ . After reading some of these reviews I understand a lot now.

I would give these LIARS absolutely NO STARS for the simple fact that one day they tell you it’s ZERO down on the phone got down there to look at the car they say 750 down NO MATTER WHAT, no credit check or nothing, why are they lieing to people they advertise 0 down to get you their. And pretend like they didn’t speak to you on the phone.
