Pat was my salesman today and was very helpful with being a first time buyer at a car lot. Was interested in a 2021 Buick encore and I got it! Very clean, detailed very well. I had an excellent experience with Mid Illini Auto Center. From the first text, Brittney was responsive, professional, and focused on answering my questions—not pressuring me to come in. I was coming from 1.5 hours away, so I asked to work out numbers and financing first, and she completely understood. Within a few hours, she had options ready. When the first didn’t fit my budget, they went above and beyond to find a better rate that worked for me. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, and everything was exactly as advertised—clean truck, full tank of gas, ready to go. Jess and Jim were just as great in person—patient, thorough, and never rushed us, even staying late to finish everything. From first contact to driving home was under 12 hours (including travel). I went to this dealership December 6th and bought a 2021 Chevy blazer. December 7th engine light came on and we was hearing noises going Highway speeds messaged them December 8th they got us in and fixed one of the problems but couldn’t pin point the other one. Fast forward to now finally threw a code for the other issue I was having rough idle and growling noise called the dealer back up told them And took it in they wanted to charge 700 dollars for a issue they knew about 2 days after I bought it. After they told me it wasn’t covered under warranty I never gave them permission to do anything with my car and they tried charging me almost 300 for diagnostic instead of returning my call to see what was going on. Also heat shield around the exhaust is loose And flapping in the wind and they told me nothing was wrong with the shield. This is the third car I’ve bought from them so they have lost a returning customer after this ordeal. They told me it would be taken care off and they would fix the issues and didn’t.
