Idaho Youth Ranch Auto Sales has been GREAT to work with!!! I donated a vehicle to them, and it was a quick, wonderful process!!! They picked up my car the same day a spoke with them, and the donation goes towards a great cause serving our youth!!!

I'm wanting to let people know about my experience if it's helpful to them. I'm very picky with mechanics or auto. Dealers, because i've always painted the industry with a broad brush period used car guys get a bad rap. I was grateful to have dealt with the gentleman twice on two different vehicles, about five years apart, and I've been more than pleased both times. The first one I picked up paid a fair price, but I was able to sell it for a higher price.And then when I bought it! If that tells you something. He's workable on the price, but he doesn't like to advertise that. And I can understand that, but overall, a good selection, and most important to me was honest, personable and transparent service i'm finding somebody a good working vehicle that they offer.

The young gentleman by the name of Tim sold me a vehicle that should work for.all my needs at a steal!! He is pleasant to work with and the entire experience was quick and painless. I called and left a message telling him my position and what I needed and what I could afford. He promptly got back to me and told me what he could do for me. I raced down to the store and purchased the vehicle He told me about on the spot. The idaho youth ranch does invaluable work in the idaho community and it was a pleasure to work with them!

This is the only used car lot I've been to where they are not actively trying to steal from you. I've bought 5 cars from here, three of which were $700 "out the door" for my three teen-aged sons. Cars are usually inspected by a third party and issues listed on the inspection sheet. Fair prices, and the process is faster and painless compared to any other dealer, and way easier and safer than dealing with weirdos on craigslist and facebook marketplace. I don't know what people are complaining about with prices, if they sold them below market idiots like me would snatch them up and resell them for a quick profit. It's not a charity car lot, it's a car lot in support of a charity. The cars are often one owner, and people who donate cars for tax credit generally have their lives together and take care of their stuff, so the cars are often in weirdly good shape, with maybe some issue that wasn't worth dealing with compared to just donating it.

This is a great dealership to get some cheap used cars or good project cars. The owner is a really nice guy. But take this with a grain of salt. Their vehicles are donated and can have problems more than what they would know. I would not recommend buying a vehicle here unless you are mechanically inclined or able to have them inspected by a mechanic. Otherwise, I have purchased a couple of vehicles here that have been reliable for my family with their own issues that have been minor.
