I was looking for a small reliable car and found this Miata Mx5 at Jumpin Jim’s Auto in Tallahassee, Fl. The owner Jim was very helpful and easy to negotiate with when it came to the price of the car. We came to an agreement on a down payment and bi-weekly payments I was able to afford. He did not try to upsell me or use any common car salesman pitch to extort more money. I had my payments set on auto bill pay through my bank and a year later the car was paid for. I had forgotten to shut off the auto bill pay and Jim called me letting me know he had received another check and that he was going to tear it up. I called my bank told them the situation and the check was void and money returned. Jim was not only easy to buy a car from but honest as well. Excellent experience, I will definitely be buying another vehicle from Jumpin Jim’s Auto in Tallahassee, Fl in my near future. I recently finished paying off my vehicle at Jim‘s place. He is a real nice person to do business with. I was treated fairly and paid a fair price for the vehicle that I purchased. It’s extremely flexible and accommodating, which is not something you get from a big company. I would not hesitate to do business with him again. He is one of the good guys.

Before writing this entire review I'd like to point to the bad reviews, It IS a buy here pay here. They DO have financial limitations and it probably would be bad for business if they were to handle every situation as if the world and their entire business revolves around you. If even 2/10 vehicles they sell on a weekly basis had something major wrong with it that's STILL decent return & service. Know what you want before going & know what you're getting yourself into before you buy. That being said I had wanted a 4.8L Vortec base for a work truck/long term drag truck to basically rebuild, throw a turbo on it (It's got a ridiculously thick block you can literally run these with double waste gate set ups at 20+ pounds of boost no problem), Cam, Fuel rail, forged pistons/heads T56 Magnum manual tranny 8.8 gears, The works. This is where my story gets interesting, I only had a permit, first born son on the way, working full time, 22 y/o, going through court troubles etc and HAD to have a vehicle. I had $2000 and NO other sales lot would even give me the time of day. Crystal was prompt and was so helpful in my situation I almost wanna cry just thinking about how much the olive branch was truly extended and for that I thank you. Needless to say I got exactly what I wanted and I already have parts on the way (And some already here surprisingly enough just bought it 2+ weeks ago now) for the rebuild. Agnes does have some quirks but nothing I can't buff out & I love her to death. I told them I would get my license, I did that. I told them I would pay my payments on time (Mostly... Lol) I do that. Know the vehicle you're going to go look at and know how it should operate, don't blame them for moving a couple lemons off the lot out of trying to get better inventory in, they've gotta go somewhere and when you signed it probably DID say as- is. They do have good inventory, Crystal is great to work with and I can vouch that they saved my life from spiral dismay in one shot and gave me the chance to prove myself. I'm also planning on buying my car from here in the next couple years (Future drift missile to be). Back to my truck, had to put new headlights in it, tires on it (Would have done this anyway as I wanted go up a couple sizes and did), replaced the tps, Oil change, Fixed crack in windshield wiper fluid container, It does have a check engine light but it's from my #2 knock sensor and I'm just going to redo that when I tear it apart because it's too much work for one little sensor that if it was knocking I'd hear it anyways so it's nothing at this point, serpentine belt liked to squeal in the mornings (Belt dressing fixed that) and other then that it's great and what I wanted. Jumpin Jims is a god send, every person & company has shortcomings at one time or another, nobody's perfect. I'm a happy and satisfied customer.

Bought a 2004 Honda civic from Jim in 2023 for my teenage daughter’s first car. It’s been a great little car!! My daughter thought something was wrong with the car once so I called Jim and he didn’t hesitate to offer to take a look at any to resolve any issues. Turned out to be she just had her first flat tire 😂 but I appreciated Jim being willing to correct any issues (even though it turned out there was none). I paid off the car in about a year. Just drove it to almost Miami from Tallahassee and had no issues with it at all. I would definitely recommend Jumpin Jim’s and would buy from him again.
