The Peoples Car Company

This car dealership offers great service and quality vehicles. The staff were very professional and took the time to help me explore different options. They explained the features and pricing clearly and helped me choose the right car. The entire experience was simple and enjoyable.

This company sold me a lemon. I'm so frustrated. A truck with every problem you could think of. I test drove it and it seemed to be fine. After the first day all light's on the dash came on. No coolant in the radiator, brake fluid was low a bald tire on the passenger side. The back doors don't open. Now it won't go into reverse. I have a remodeling company that needs this truck. Oh my goodness this really hurts my feelings bad.

This is my 5th car purchased from People. I like my car. But I don't like being lied to. Joe Baker lied to me and my sister. He came out his mouth to say that if I have a problem with the car that his mechanic will take care of it. So anyway he chose to tell that lie. I will not do business with People again. I'm soooo glad my sister didn't purchase that Lexus for her daughter. And I'm telling you all right now that he will lie to get you to buy them cars. Yes used cars. No warranty... so why offer to even fix a problem if you don't have to? Stop telling lies. I'm telling everyone to not do business with People's! Find a honest car lot! To reply to your reply on 7/27/2026! Like I said this time around the lie was told by Joe! I didn't make him tell the lie. He made that decision on his own. This time is different from other times that I've purchased from People's. So you can miss me with telling me about the mechanic. I don't know anything about the mechanic. I'm not the one who brought up what the mechanic can do to fix my car...Joe brought it up. So anyway like I said this time after the 5th purchase I was lied to and that's that...periodt with a t!

After watching the video of how they treated my brother those people are dishonest and thieves. Being a mechanic and someone who has worked on used cars for a dealership in st augustine, never have I ever seen any vehicle leave without a true inspection. No fluid in the radiator, brakes that are leaking, that is a safety hazard and that dealership needs to rectify the situation. There are lemon laws in florida for such places. I encourage everyone to watch the video on Facebook and see how honest they really aren't.

If I could rate this place negative I would ... I bought my first car here a year ago the day I bought it I drove it off the lot with the stabilitrack light on saying it needed to be serviced I took it to a mechanic shop as they quoted me almost 9,000 dollars to fix basically the entire "bottom" of my car .. while I know they say that the cars are sold as - is they don't tell you everything wrong with the cars when u go to purchase which is understandable but when you tell someone you have a mechanic on-site so they will purchase the car then as they are signing papers you proceed to tell them the mechanic walked out a week ago ... very shady , very manipulative, good luck to anyone who has or ever does buy a vehicle from them I just had the entire transmission redone after it being off the lot less than a year ago & while they can comment back and say that's normal wear and tear it's not ... I have had this car on a monlthy maintenance routine before the transmission had to be replaced . I have not reached out to anyone there because why would I trust going through them again .. to bring my car back for maintenance if you sold it to me like that in the first place ?
