We came to RPM Raceway for my son's birthday after giving him a few different activity options, and we're so glad he chose this! I wasn't sure what to expect, especially with the price being around $30–$40 per person, but it ended up being well worth it. The go kart races were a lot of fun, and you get a good amount of track time for your money. My husband and son enjoyed it so much that they ended up racing twice! One thing that really surprised us was the arcade. We purchased game credits expecting them to disappear quickly, but they actually lasted much longer than we anticipated. We got to play so many games that we were actually looking for more to spend our remaining credits on. That was a nice change compared to other arcades where your credits seem to disappear in minutes. We didn't try the food or drinks, but they do have food available along with a bar if you want to make an afternoon or evening out of it. They also had laser tag and other activities, so there's plenty to do even if you're not racing the entire time. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. I could see this being a fun family outing, birthday celebration, or even a date night. It's also a perfect indoor activity during the colder months when there isn't much to do outside. Highly recommend!
Okay I rarely ever do reviews but I just visited the Stamford Location and DAWENSONNNNN made it so much more fun for my bf and I. This was my 30th birthday and now I feel like I’ll be here every other month!
Really cool place. The staff was polite and helpful. It’s clean and wells staffed. We had a good time bowling with our kids.
Had an amazing time at RPM Raceway! It was a last-minute decision to do something special for my son, and I’m so glad we came. Shane, the manager on duty, and his entire staff were outstanding. They went above and beyond to accommodate our family’s needs and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. Excellent customer service and a fun atmosphere. Thanks again, Shane, we’ll definitely be back!
I thought the experience was worth a shot, but they did their best to not entice our return. While the core Go Karting activity was all I hoped for, the arcade was a big disappointment. Many of the amusements (games) were out of order. Others (like the VR machines, super cool) had missing sanitary eye /face masks or had non-working headsets. There were few staff members to consult with and they all clustered in the reception, apparently with little to do to help guests, but talk (mumble) among themselves. Many games I paid for with the scan card, pressed "start" only to see nothing happened and the machine ate my card payment but didn't start. They also don't explain how the arcade works, making me believe that tickets would be like money back on the card, when in fact they were worth about .005 cents per ticket at the end to "cash in" for candy or toys that basically amounted to $60.00 for a box of candy. I can see a lot of gambling additions being created here. From a safety perspective, you need to be 48" tall no matter what your age. They reportedly allow 6 year olds onto the karts, which could be unsafe, and offer a very short video training that's easy to not follow. C'mon RPM, you can do better than this!!
