Exceptional Service from Jacob Matos! We had an amazing experience at Lia Hyundai of Hartford purchasing our new family car! Our salesperson, Jacob Matos, was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was incredibly patient, took his time with us, and walked us through the entire car-buying process from start to finish without making us feel rushed at all. We were torn between two great color options for the Palisade SEL Premium—the navy blue and the olive green. Jacob helped us weigh our options, and we ultimately went with the olive green. We couldn't be happier with our choice! We are completely satisfied with our new Palisade and can't wait to surprise the kids with it. This dealership is simply top-notch. I purchased a new Sante Fe Hybrid from Lia Hartford in Feburary. I spent several years looking at many different makes and models before landing on the Santa Fe. It came down between the Santa Fe and the BMW X5. What anamazing vehicle. The level of engineering and quality are over-the-top. The sales staff and the finance manager were all great with little to no pressure. Were this dealership moved into the "exceptional" category was when there was an issue with the finish on the car. To avoid a long backstory, the issue was related to the overall appearance of the finish. As soon as they saw the vehicle in person, the all felt that this was an issue. It wasn't defective, just that the finish was different than it should have been. Without a hesitation, they said, "Well, let's get you into another (new) car." Now this is one of those areas where a dealer could have easily pushed back and tried to avoid having to address the issue - or dragged out a resolution. Not Lia of Hartford. While they did offer a new replacement vehicle, they also laid out a number of other options (e.g. repainting the vehicle, etc.), but left the choice to me. Not only did they swap cars, but they also handled all the other usual expenses that some with a car sale, so I was not out-of-pocket any funds. If you are looking to purchase a new (or used) Hyundai, I would urge you to visit Lia of Hartford first. I have no doubt that they will do their best to get you into the car you want without pressure or hassle.

I recently purchased a new Hyundai Elantra Hybrid from Lia Hyundai of Hartford, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. A special shoutout to Mohamed Aljahmee—he was incredibly patient, professional, and really worked with me to get the best possible deal on my Elantra. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free without any pressure. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend both the dealership and Mohamed if you’re looking for a new car!

If you need a car, Sewell is great—10/10 service with him every time. The service department is also helpful and as well Mr Fresco. Unfortunately, the 1-star rating is for the customer service when calling the dealership. I called with a very simple question on Saturday, 8/8 around 12:30 p.m., and the woman answering the phone responded, “If you called and no one answered, then no one is available.” I even offered to come into the dealership if that was easier, but she wouldn’t tell me who the manager on duty was. Fortunately, I was eventually able to speak with a very helpful gentleman, David I believe, who quickly gave me the information I needed. The phone experience unnecessarily escalated what should have been a simple request and could definitely use improvement.
