I bought a Volvo a few years ago from Prime Motors and I was so impressed with their integrity. We had settled on a price that included all the various taxes. When the numbers were actually entered into their computer, they found that one of the tax numbers they had quoted was much lower than the actual tax. They owned up to their error and kept the total at what we had agreed. Then came the failed emissions test after purchase. They promised it would pass emissions and when it didn't they send the Volvo to a repair shop and gave me a loaner car in the meantime. The repair shop's repair didn't solve the issue so they sent the Volvo to a Volvo dealership and, all told, ended up spending over $1000 in repairs to get it to pass emissions. They were true to their word in everything.

I bought an Infiniti Q50 in November 2025. On the very first day after leaving the dealership, as soon as I arrived home, I noticed the car was leaking coolant. I immediately contacted Samson to report the issue. He agreed to take care of the situation, especially since I had owned the car for less than three hours. It took him 15 days to resolve the problem. During those days, I had to pay my full-coverage insurance of $350 and the monthly car payment without being able to use the vehicle. After the long wait, he returned the car with the faulty part replaced. Just one week later, the brake pads started squealing loudly. All four pads were extremely worn and of very poor quality, so I had to replace them all at my own expense. Fifteen days after that, the check engine light came on. I had the car inspected and was told that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced, which would cost around $4,000. Shortly afterward, the car began leaking coolant again. I took it to an independent workshop, where they told me that the coolant reservoir and its cap had been replaced with cheap generic parts that couldn’t withstand the system’s pressure due to their low quality. At first, the buying experience seemed very pleasant thanks to Samson’s friendly attitude. However, beyond the salesperson’s kindness, what truly matters is the quality of the product. Selling a vehicle that is not in proper condition is unacceptable—especially a car priced well above $17,000. Instead of doing the job properly, the only thing that happened after the “repair” was that they installed low-quality parts to make things quicker and cheaper. What could (and should) have been fixed in a single day took 15 days because they chose to cut corners instead of investing in quality parts and proper labor. I’m sharing this experience so that anyone considering a car purchase takes the time to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and avoid these kinds of headaches.
