I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from A1 Auto. I’ve owned it a month now and so far so good. Great vehicle and great service.

I bought a car from them and was relectutant because I had found out that one of the owners was using it as a personal commuter for her family that came in town. Because of the mileage and price I had to see it for myself. That was the first red flag. The second red flag was that the owner at that time placed 1000 miles on it within the time her family was in town. When I had come to realize how much additional mileage was added to the vehicle I immediately requested a reduction in the asking price. Of course I was told it was a good deal which I didn't doubt but that was the least they could've done after adding more mileage to the car that was not listed. I was shocked after foregoing 10k cash on the car that our warranty was not intitiated after the 10k check had cleared. Another thing I found odd was upon getting the car home was that it had an oil/transmission leak. I thoroughly checked the car up and down with the resources I had at the dealership which mind you looked like an apartment community to find no issues but of course after we had finalized everything here I am 10k out and a damaged vehicle. I called her immediately and asked her about the warranty and when it would be in affect? She stated she's still awaiting for the remaining money from the financing company before she can submit everything over. Frustrated I asked her if she knew about the leak and conveniently she responded that she did not but also proceeded to tell me not to worry. I was convinced that she was awaiting for the 7 day lemon law to pass so that we couldn't work towards a refund because of the oil leak unbeknownst to us. Her husband several days later in that week suggested that I go through Hyundai to see if there were any warranties in affect from the manufacturer and or on the drive train. Unfortunately due to it's age the warranties are now null and void. I can't fathom why older couple simply didn't take the additional steps to ensure that the vehicle was worthy of a sale. I definitely feel lied to, conned and manipulated throughout the entire. As a consumer I did my due diligence and checked reviews for any negatives and like any company I found some that were disheartening. Many of the good and poor reviews date back to over 5 years. Because I am also in the business of selling cars I figured I'd give them a chance and boy do I regret it. I am now 2000.00 in the hole and wish this was all a dream. I should've taken it to my mechanic but he's located all the way on tower and time was simply not on my side. Hopefully anyone that shops with them will dispute the false advertising of any over mileage and have it thoroughly inspected first.
