ARA Used Cars Inc

They were great to deal with , the car was exactly as advertised, im looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

I purchased a 13 year old vehicle from them. Several small issues that I brought up after the test drive were corrected before purchase. Good vehicle, fair price. Would recommend to friends and family.

Salesperson was genuinely nice. The vehicle we looked at had major mechanical issues after being told there was nothing wrong with the car. As always, have a mechanic double check your next used car purchase

Very poor inventory sold me a truck saying that they had not serviced. They definitely knew the transmission was on its way out even though they were convinced that it was just a shift solenoid Do not recommend buying from them

If I could’ve given this place 0 stars I would’ve. I found a car on Facebook Market and came to check it out. I ended up test driving and purchasing this car. Everything was fine until a few days later it started to make strange noises. I know nothing about cars and this was the first car I ever purchased. I took it to a mechanic and I was informed it had multiple issues which ended up paying almost $800 within the first week of having the car. I call back ARA to ask about getting it fixed and they tell me I bought it as is and they do not have a mechanic so they cannot help me. A few months later (last weekend), I’m driving on the interstate and my car goes in limp mode and the check engine light came on. I take it to a mechanic and I was informed that it will need a whole new transmission and that he recommends getting a whole new car because of all the issues this one has. Also needed a new CV boot. The mechanic told me this did not just happen since i’ve had the car. I am a 22 year old female and feel as if my lack of knowledge and willingness to buy a car was completely taken advantage of. Do not get your car from ARA.
