Customer service was great. Was very helpful in explaining about vehicle. Would recommend Legacy Automotive
Bought a 2008 Jeep Wrangler in Oct 2025. I'm out of state, and I couldn't get to the dealership. I was able to easily do all the paperwork and wire the funds. Scott answered all my questions quickly and accurately. And when the delivery service ran into problems and couldn't bring it to me, he loaded it onto his personal truck and trailer and brought it himself!
I purchased a 2012 Nissan Sentra SR from this dealership and experienced issues with it the same day after leaving the lot, including whining noises and acceleration problems. I reported the issue immediately, sent video proof, and returned the vehicle the next day. I was initially told the car had been driven from Birmingham and was in “good condition.” After the dealership inspected the vehicle, I was informed there was a P1778 code along with a malfunction/step motor-related code that they said could explain the issues I experienced. The front office staff member I dealt with was respectful, and communicated my concerns professionally throughout the process. The dealership ultimately refunded me $3,700, but kept $500 as a non-refundable “doc fee” even though the issues began immediately after purchase and even though I purchased full coverage insurance. I’m simply sharing my personal experience so others can make informed decisions.
Had the unpleasant experience of meeting with the owner. Lied to my face about the “perfection” of a vehicle that had visible damage. He didn’t like me pointing out the obvious flaws of the vehicle and basically told me to kick rocks in a nice way. Then he left without inspecting our Escalade for trade. Don’t recommend doing business with these folks. And from the previous reviews I seem to have dodged a bullet anyway.
Would rate lower if possible. I called on a Monday asking to see some additional photos/maintenance records for an SUV I found through online searching. They told me they couldn't provide as the vehicle was currently being rented and though it was due back, it hadn't arrived yet, but would provide once it was back. Called next day, same thing. Wednesday I called, as well as informing them I was a pretty interested customer, and would be taking Friday afternoon off to come and test drive/pick up the vehicle if it checked out. Called Thursday late afternoon, no one answered, couldn't leave a voicemail. So now it's Friday. They still don't have the vehicle and can't seem to swap it out with another from their inventory and they're not sure when it will be back. However, they would open when they're usually not on Saturday for us, sit by the phone and wait, we'll call you. Never received a call. We called one last time the following Monday. When I said I was inquiring about the vehicle, they recognized my voice and said it still wasn't there, and they had no idea when it would be back, and someone named Scott does the rental deals but he's not in so we'll call you if he shows up today. I've purchased 36 or 37 vehicles now from all across America, and I have to say this was a first for me. Never received a single picture or record in a week, and only once did they have the professional courtesy of calling us to at least know the status. I was professional, not at all rude, and just a potential customer with cash in hand merely wanting to see some pics of the interior and engine as the 5 photos they did list on their website were of the exterior only. Your money, like mine, is good everywhere. Do yourself a favor, and please don't waste your time like we did, including taking an afternoon off from work, and give it to a dealership that defines the old mantra of a used car sales lot. If they gave us the run around before we even bought the thing, could it be any better after?
