This car buying experience was a tremendous blessing for my family, and myself and expression of kindness and professionalism exemplified through the owner and his team) at Five T Auto Sales on hwy 53 as well as Hazel Green we were truly grateful that my daughter who was not expecting to qualify for a vehicle due to previous rejections was able to drive off the parking lot with car that she never would have imagined she could receive, and qualify for going from a 2007 Scion TC to a 2013 BMW X1 and she is still awe!!!!! And she can’t believe this has happened especially when she didn’t even prepare for it, and lost faith in it happening, but the owner and his team through their kindness and professionalism helped restore her faith, and hope in the car buying experience again!!! This dealership runs on predatory lending, not honest car sales. The financing comes with outrageously high interest rates and almost zero transparency. You’re rushed through paperwork, important details are glossed over, and the loan is structured so the lender wins no matter what. Even paying the loan off early barely reduced what was owed because interest is stacked heavily in their favor. When I went to pay the loan off, there was absolutely no willingness to negotiate the payoff amount — not even a conversation. It was treated as completely non-negotiable despite the excessive interest already paid, which makes it very clear this operation is about squeezing every possible dollar, not fair business. To make it worse, the loan doesn’t even report to major credit bureaus, so you’re paying insane interest with zero positive impact on your credit score. All the cost and risk, none of the benefit. Based on the total amount paid once interest was included, it’s hard not to feel like the vehicle itself cost the dealership far less. Between the down payment and the excessive interest alone, they more than made their money back — everything after that is pure profit. That says a lot about how this place operates. I was also required to sign paperwork agreeing to a vehicle tracking device, yet there was no transparency about whether one was ever installed, and no confirmation that it was removed after the loan was paid off. Being forced to sign a tracker agreement with zero follow-through is invasive, concerning, and unacceptable. Basic administrative tasks were handled terribly. My address was never updated despite being told multiple times, my legal last name was incorrect even after offering to show my ID, and nearly all paperwork had my name misspelled. These errors were never corrected and only reinforced how careless and unprofessional this operation is. On top of all of that, the place itself is ghetto, chaotic, and completely unprofessional. The owner is never there, accountability is nonexistent, and the entire operation feels sketchy and poorly run. They’re quick to take your money and nowhere to be found when it’s time to fix problems. This isn’t a misunderstanding — it’s a business model built to take advantage of people.
